KB Home Launches 1,500-Home Community in North Las Vegas
Spanning nearly 300 acres near the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, a new master-planned community has officially broken ground in North Las Vegas. KB Home announced the opening of the first phase of Sandstone, a project slated to bring over 1,500 single-family homes and townhomes to the region.
North Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black noted that the project represents a significant economic investment, expected to bolster local business growth and job creation. Residents will have access to floor plans offering up to five bedrooms and five baths, with the option for customization through the builder's design studio. Each property is engineered to meet ENERGY STAR certification standards, a benchmark currently held by fewer than 12% of new homes nationwide. While the Landings and Reserves neighborhoods are open for tours, construction continues on the remaining Meadows and Gardens phases.
