The installation, located at 124 East Kirkwood Avenue, utilizes optical-illusion techniques designed by South Bend artist Nate Baranowski. The mural invites visitors to appear as if they are stepping into a celebration alongside athletes and fellow supporters. By design, the project aims to integrate into the city’s daily landscape, serving as an accessible monument for those who do not have a place on the field.
Dr Pepper Unveils Interactive Fan Monument in Bloomington
While championship rings and banners traditionally honor players and coaches, Dr Pepper is shifting the focus toward the supporters who fuel college football. On Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, the brand unveiled its first-ever Fan Wall of Fame in Bloomington, Indiana, offering a public, interactive tribute to the team's historic national championship season.

Former Indiana quarterback Trent Green returned to Bloomington to inaugurate the site, becoming the first person to interact with the mural. According to Brad Rakes, VP of Brand Marketing at Keurig Dr Pepper, the company intends to establish this monument as an annual tradition for winning programs. The initiative acknowledges the role of fan loyalty in the sport’s broader narrative, ensuring that those who sustain the team through every chapter of the season receive a lasting symbol of their contribution.
