While the frame itself is slightly thicker than those on mainstream flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus, the total border area is effectively non-existent to the naked eye.

Smartphone design hit a wall years ago, with manufacturers settling for tiny black borders around their displays. Tecno is now challenging that status quo with its new 'Bezelless' concept, a device that pushes the OLED panel right to the frame’s edge by rethinking how screens are mounted inside the chassis.
Tecno’s prototype features a 6.78-inch, 144Hz 1.5K display powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400e chipset. Despite the technical achievement, the phone remains a concept rather than a commercial product. The company opted for a traditional 32-megapixel selfie camera rather than an under-display sensor, and the rear panel sports a holographic butterfly design. While this design won't revolutionize user interaction in the AI era, it proves that the hardware path to a truly borderless smartphone is viable, potentially validating long-standing rumors regarding future Apple designs.
