Under the banner of "Innovation in tune with you," LG Electronics unveiled an expanded suite of AI-driven home solutions at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The centerpiece of the LG booth is a 16-by-4-meter kinetic LED installation where the LG CLOiD robot conducts a digital orchestra, symbolizing the harmony between home appliances and automated services. This "Zero Labor Home" vision aims to reduce domestic chores through the integration of the ThinQ platform and the public debut of ThinQ Claw, a text-chat-based AI agent designed to provide personalized recommendations based on daily routines.

Beyond private residential applications, LG is extending its reach into commercial sectors with ThinQ Pro, a B2B management tool for centralized facility monitoring. The company also showcased its Home Energy Management System (HEMS), powered by the Athom-acquired platform Homey, which coordinates energy consumption and storage. For the European market, LG introduced the Fit & Max design philosophy, which emphasizes high-capacity appliances—including refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers—that maintain a sleek, built-in aesthetic without increasing their physical footprint.

Technological efficiency remains a priority, with the company showcasing washing machines that consume 70 percent less energy than the minimum Class A requirement. The display also features the LG OLED W6 and the ultra-high-refresh-rate 1,000Hz UltraGear monitor, highlighting the company's efforts to blend premium display hardware with AI-enhanced content management.
