Riko’s Pizza has acquired its franchise locations in Merrick and Levittown, New York, bringing both sites under corporate ownership. The deal marks the exit of the brand’s original franchisee, who launched the company’s first location outside Connecticut in 2020, and signals a broader push to solidify Riko’s footprint on Long Island.
Looking beyond these existing sites, the company is preparing for further expansion in the region. Riko’s has already announced plans to open a new location at the Shops at SunVet in Holbrook, New York, in 2027. This move follows a period of rapid growth for the brand, which currently operates 13 locations across four states. By consolidating its Long Island presence, Riko’s intends to leverage its existing customer base to fuel a more aggressive growth strategy across the East Coast.
