Mech-Mind Robotics Debuts on HKEX, Leading the Embodied AI Sector

With an opening price of HK$101.7 per share, Mech-Mind Robotics officially joined the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 1, 2026. The listing marks a milestone for the firm, which now stands as the first publicly traded entity focused on the integrated "Eye-Brain-Hand" stack for physical artificial intelligence.

The IPO values the company at HK$12.71 billion, cementing its status as a dominant force in industrial automation. Unlike traditional manufacturers that build complete robots, the Shanghai-based firm focuses on standardized intelligent components. Its product portfolio includes Mech Eye 3D cameras for perception, Mech-GPT multimodal models for decision-making, and specialized dexterous hands for physical execution.

Since its founding in 2016, the company has scaled aggressively. As of June 15, 2026, it has deployed over 29,000 units globally, serving major industrial players including CATL, BYD, Midea, and Foxconn. Market data for 2025 indicates the firm holds a 22.1% share of the global AI-driven 3D vision market by revenue, with shipment volumes exceeding the combined output of its four largest competitors.

Qiming Venture Partners, which led the firm's Round A+ financing in 2019, remains a significant backer with a 7.38% stake. Alex Zhou, Managing Partner at Qiming, noted that the investment was rooted in the potential for AI to bridge the gap between digital models and physical industrialization. Chairman and CEO Shao Tianlan emphasized that the company’s growth relies on consistent product reliability and the ability to serve international markets, rather than isolated breakthroughs. The listing serves as the tenth IPO for Qiming Venture Partners this year, further diversifying its portfolio of over 580 companies.
