The rankings, verified by InfoLink Consulting, SMM, ICCSINO, and NECI, highlight how HiTHIUM has successfully scaled its manufacturing and delivery capabilities to meet rising demand for 4-to-8-hour storage systems. The company now services projects in more than 40 countries, providing integrated solutions for renewable energy bases, industrial facilities, and AI data centers.
HiTHIUM Maintains Second Place in Global Energy Storage Shipments
With global energy storage battery shipments hitting 467.84 GWh in the first half of 2026, Xiamen-based HiTHIUM has secured the second spot in international rankings for the second consecutive year. The company’s growth follows a 94.76% year-on-year surge in the sector, fueled by a strategic pivot toward long-duration energy storage solutions.

To sustain this momentum, the manufacturer is expanding its global footprint. In January 2026, its Chongqing site became the industry's first certified Lighthouse Factory. This was followed by the launch of an integrated LDES industrial park in Heze, Shandong, and the commencement of production at its Texas facility, with a Spanish plant currently under construction. By controlling its supply chain from material development to full-lifecycle operations, HiTHIUM aims to solidify its competitive edge in a market increasingly defined by demands for higher safety and longer operational reliability.
