The company’s shift to near-shore manufacturing aims to provide local OEMs with immediate access to safety hardware that meets regional compliance standards. YFORE’s sensing strips utilize proprietary algorithms to monitor sealing edges, ensuring real-time response for side doors and powered frunks. By integrating compact control units directly into door panels, the system eliminates blind spots that often plague traditional closure sensors.
YFORE Opens Georgia Facility to Scale Anti-Pinch Sensor Production
With power-operated doors and smart liftgates becoming standard in modern vehicles, YFORE Technology has launched a dedicated production facility in Suwanee, Georgia. The plant targets North American automakers, supplying high-speed sensor systems designed to prevent injury by detecting obstructions in vehicle closures within five milliseconds.

Technically, the hardware achieves an activation success rate exceeding 99.9 percent while maintaining a false trigger rate below 0.5 percent. These IP67-rated sensors are built to withstand extreme environmental conditions, including thermal fluctuations and high-pressure cleaning. The units support CAN FD communication protocols, allowing for OTA diagnostic updates that refine performance over the vehicle’s lifecycle. This expansion marks a strategic move by the global Tier-1 supplier to anchor its intelligent access and sensing portfolio within the North American automotive supply chain.
