This expansion complements the ongoing 40,000-meter Phase 4 drill program, which has already seen 20,000 meters completed. By deploying these mobile units, Nevada King aims to explore the Splay Zone, an untested 500-by-300-meter gold anomaly located north of the existing Atlanta resource.

Nevada King Gold Corp. has added a fourth drill rig to its Atlanta Gold Mine Project in southeast Nevada, signaling an aggressive push to test previously undrilled targets. The company is pivoting its exploration strategy to target the Splay Zone, a high-potential area identified through recent structural reinterpretation.
Infrastructure development has kept pace with the expanded rig count. Construction of access roads at the Atlanta South target is now complete, clearing the path for RC rigs to begin testing mineralized intercepts in Pogonip Limestone. Once roadwork concludes at the East Ridge, the company plans to utilize RC drilling to evaluate mineralization depth beyond the 30-meter reach of the RAB equipment. VP of Exploration Justin Daley noted that recent structural mapping suggests the Splay Zone, East Ridge, and the main Atlanta resource are part of a single, larger mineralizing system offset by faulting, rather than isolated occurrences.
