Huawei Concludes Gamescom 2026 With Five Days of Interactive Play

Amidst the high-energy crowds of Cologne, the Huawei AppGallery and GameCenter booth transformed Hall 7 into a tactical hub for competitive gaming and community engagement. From August 26 to 30, the space hosted hands-on challenges and live showcases, culminating in a series of headline events that drew thousands of attendees.

The five-day event featured a curated selection of titles, including Wargaming’s World of Tanks Blitz, Gameloft’s Asphalt Legends, and SkyFu’s Petal Paws. Developers utilized the platform to connect directly with the European gaming community, gathering real-time feedback and hosting interactive sessions. The booth’s main stage served as the focal point for these activities, particularly on August 29, when competitive quizzes and one-on-one gameplay challenges drew significant crowds.

Beyond gameplay, the event functioned as a reward-driven ecosystem for attendees. Visitors participated in stamp-collection quests and trivia contests, securing prizes ranging from HUAWEI FreeClip earbuds and FreeBuds 7i to the HUAWEI Band 10. To sustain interest beyond the convention floor, AppGallery distributed regional coupons offering up to 25% discounts across Europe. With the physical event now concluded, Huawei is transitioning its community engagement strategy to digital channels, leveraging Discord and Facebook to maintain the momentum generated during the week in Cologne.
