TCL Electronics Reports 54% Profit Surge Amid Global Expansion
TCL Electronics reported a 54.3% year-on-year surge in adjusted profit for the first half of 2026, reaching HK$1.64 billion. The Hong Kong-listed company leveraged strong international demand for premium Mini LED televisions and an expanding high-margin internet services segment to drive revenue to HK$63.76 billion.

Beyond hardware, TCL is scaling its digital footprint. The company's internet business saw a 30.4% increase in gross profit, bolstered by a 74.6% revenue jump in international markets. With over 53.59 million cumulative users on its platform, TCL is deepening ties with global streaming giants like Netflix and Roku. To further diversify, the firm is moving to acquire TCL Industries' air-conditioning business for HK$5.61 billion, aiming to solidify its 'all-category smart device' strategy by the end of the year.
