Jen Sorenson Tapped to Lead Woolpert Infrastructure Expansion
With two decades of experience navigating large-scale engineering projects, Jen Sorenson has been named Executive Vice President of Infrastructure at Woolpert. Operating from the firm’s Austin office, she will oversee global growth strategies for transportation, aviation, and water sectors, aiming to scale the company’s footprint through both organic development and acquisitions.

CEO Neil Churman highlighted Sorenson’s ability to build high-performing teams as a primary catalyst for the appointment. For her part, Sorenson noted that the firm’s people-first culture was a decisive factor in her move. A graduate of the University of North Dakota and The University of Texas at Austin, Sorenson has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Texas. Her mandate now centers on sustaining the firm's current expansion trajectory while integrating technical delivery with strategic market development.
