The group, which manages brands including Lanvin, Wolford, Sergio Rossi, and St. John, ended the period with 151 directly operated stores. This contraction is part of a broader rationalization strategy designed to shed underperforming locations and focus on brand transformation. While overall revenue dipped, the company saw a 1.29 percentage point expansion in gross profit margin, reaching 59%.
Lanvin Group Trims Losses Amid Strategic Retail Overhaul
Lanvin Group reported €101 million in revenue for the first half of 2026, a 13% decline year-on-year as the luxury conglomerate accelerated a deliberate reduction of its retail footprint. Despite the top-line contraction, the company narrowed its losses through aggressive cost discipline and improved gross margins across its portfolio.

Financial performance metrics showed marked improvement as the group leaned into operational efficiencies. Contribution profit rose by €10 million compared to the prior-year period, and adjusted EBITDA losses narrowed to €35 million from €52 million. Executive leadership pointed to these results as evidence of a leaner, more agile operating model. Moving into the second half of 2026, the company intends to pivot toward new licensing opportunities and creative initiatives to reignite consumer demand while maintaining a focus on disciplined capital management.
