AESC Debuts Leadership Training for Executive Search Professionals

Designed in collaboration with The Foundry Team founder Sara Barker, the initiative targets the specific management hurdles faced by those tasked with placing the world’s top corporate leaders.

The curriculum focuses on the transition from individual contributor to team manager, addressing the complexities of the modern hybrid work environment. Through four 2.5-hour live sessions, participants explore frameworks for delegation, performance management, and coaching. The modules are structured to move beyond theory, emphasizing immediate application for those mentoring rising talent or overseeing business operations.

Rebecca Ditchey, the association’s senior program manager for learning and development, noted that the program provides actionable tools to maintain clarity and growth within high-stakes talent acquisition teams. The inaugural cohort is scheduled to begin October 7, 2026, with sessions running through October 15. The association, which represents over 16,000 professionals across 80 countries, maintains a vetting process for its members, positioning this training as a reinforcement of its global standards for executive search.
