Co-founders Tom Holland and John Herman designed the glass vessel to mirror the premium positioning of their brewing process. While cans currently dominate the non-alcoholic sector, glass packaging accounts for over 25 percent of the category and remains a staple in hotels, bars, and restaurants. The company aims to bridge the gap between traditional craft beer rituals and the growing demand for alcohol-free alternatives.
BERO Shifts Strategy with Nationwide Glass Bottle Launch
Non-alcoholic beer brand BERO is moving beyond the standard aluminum can, introducing its Kingston Golden Pils in glass bottles across the United States and the United Kingdom. This expansion marks the first time a craft non-alcoholic brewer has adopted the format to capture upscale hospitality and dining environments.
CEO John Herman noted that the bottle was part of the brand's original vision, intended to improve the tactile experience of drinking and pouring. The decision arrives as U.S. non-alcoholic beer volumes are projected to climb 18 percent annually through 2029. Consumers can currently purchase the Kingston Golden Pils in the new format via the company's website for $20 per six-pack, alongside availability in select on-premise venues.
