St. Joseph’s Health Integrates AI Into Radiology Workflow

The integration utilizes Coreline Soft's AVIEW platform to provide radiologists with pre-analysis of chest CT scans. By embedding these tools directly into the INFINITT PACS, the system allows clinicians to identify and quantitatively assess findings like lung nodules without launching external applications. This design aims to maintain existing imaging protocols while adding automated, structured results to the diagnostic process.

Beyond immediate screenings, the software enables systematic reviews of secondary findings, such as emphysema and cardiovascular risks, which are often present in routine scans. The platform supports longitudinal tracking by comparing current images with historical data, a feature essential for monitoring subtle changes over time. This deployment follows a similar implementation at ImageCare Radiology, signaling a shift toward a repeatable model for integrating AI across both private practice and hospital-based healthcare systems.

David Smarro, CEO of INFINITT North America, noted that the project focuses on making sophisticated analysis feel natural within the radiologist's routine. By minimizing technical disruptions, the companies intend to expand this integrated approach to additional institutions throughout North America, refining automated reporting and diagnostic precision to improve overall patient outcomes.
