Apollo Hospitals Extends Full Clinical Services to Seven-Day Schedule

Patients across India can now access routine consultations, diagnostic testing, and scheduled procedures on Sundays as Apollo Hospitals rolls out its 'Always Open, Always Here' initiative. The move marks a significant shift in the country's healthcare landscape, eliminating the traditional weekday-only barrier for non-emergency medical care.

The expansion addresses a growing need for accessible healthcare as lifestyle-related conditions like hypertension and diabetes increasingly impact the nation's workforce. By opening outpatient services, preventive health checks, and follow-up appointments seven days a week, the hospital group aims to facilitate earlier disease detection and more consistent patient monitoring.

Founder and Chairman Dr. Prathap C. Reddy stated that the program serves as a logical extension of the group’s existing 24/7 emergency and critical care infrastructure. The initiative follows the release of the Health of the Nation 2026 report, which highlighted the urgency of proactive health management during a patient's most productive years. Since its inception in 1983, the organization has consistently pushed for expanded access, having previously pioneered the Master Health Check and AI-powered risk prediction models. With this latest commitment, the hospital group intends to shift the focus from reactive crisis management toward continuous, preventative medical engagement for the millions of patients who pass through its doors annually.
