Janis Smith-Gomez Joins Meditrina Board of Directors
Janis Smith-Gomez, a veteran executive with three decades of experience across Johnson & Johnson and major consumer brands, has joined the board of Meditrina. Her appointment arrives as the San Jose-based medical device developer seeks to scale its footprint in the minimally invasive gynecology market.
Founder and CEO Csaba Truckai credited Smith-Gomez with the specific expertise needed to guide the firm through its next growth phase. Beyond her new role at Meditrina, she currently chairs the board at The Honey Pot Company and serves as an independent director for Envoy Medical. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and maintains active board seats with the New York Academy of Medicine and Black Public Media.
