The annual ranking, compiled in collaboration with data firm Statista, evaluates facilities based on professional peer reviews, SAMHSA-verified credentials, service variety, and patient experience data from platforms like Google Reviews and Rehabs.com. Out of more than 17,000 facilities operating across the country, RCA’s inclusion signals a consistent adherence to evidence-based care models.

Brett Cohen, chief executive officer of RCA, stated that the recognition validates the work of their clinical teams and the organization's broader objective to assist one million individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. The network operates a full continuum of care, ranging from medically monitored detox and inpatient residential treatment to outpatient programs and alumni support services. All locations maintain accreditation from The Joint Commission, emphasizing a stigma-free environment intended to foster long-term recovery.
