Over half of Japanese firms report persistent staffing deficits, forcing retail employees to juggle vehicle sales alongside complex insurance renewals. Recent amendments to the Insurance Business Act have intensified this pressure, mandating rigorous disclosure requirements that often interrupt the flow of customer consultations. The new platform acts as a digital assistant, providing instant policy lookups, real-time compliance checklists, and automated meeting summaries to ensure staff remain focused on the buyer.
Dyna.Ai Trials Insurance AI at Toyota Corolla Kagawa Dealerships
Faced with Japan’s chronic labor shortage and tightening insurance regulations, a new pilot program is deploying enterprise AI to showroom floors. Dyna.Ai, in partnership with Dolbix Consulting and Nikkoku Soft, aims to automate compliance and administrative tasks for Toyota Corolla Kagawa sales staff starting this August.

This initiative integrates financial services directly into the physical retail environment, a move mirroring the projected expansion of the global embedded finance market toward $588.49 billion by 2030. Joe Shiba, President of Dyna.Ai Japan, noted that the technology is engineered to navigate local regulatory frameworks like the Act on the Protection of Personal Information while empowering, rather than replacing, licensed representatives. Following the initial showroom tests, the consortium plans to roll out advanced features, including automated quote generation, by late 2026.
