Active Dental Expands Plano Clinic with Renovated Facilities

The clinic’s expansion replaces aging infrastructure with a modernized layout designed to improve both patient comfort and administrative efficiency. Each of the three new treatment areas features updated dental chairs and ceiling-mounted displays, while the switch to electric handpieces provides a quieter, more consistent experience compared to traditional air-driven instruments. These technology upgrades are standardized across the entire office, ensuring uniform care regardless of the specific operatory.

Beyond the clinical floor, the renovation touched every corner of the 2304 Midway Road location. Interior updates include new flooring, fresh paint, and high-efficiency LED lighting throughout the common areas. A new business center has also been integrated into the floor plan to streamline administrative tasks, such as insurance processing and scheduling. Bhavik Patel, DDS, the practice’s clinical director and owner, noted that the project was a direct response to the community's long-term support. The office remains fully operational, maintaining its focus on family and emergency dentistry, with extended hours that include evenings and Saturdays.
