The new suite integrates the company’s existing portfolio—including Ecolane, TripShot, and TripMaster—under a centralized intelligence layer. Instead of replacing legacy software, the platform connects existing systems to provide a cohesive view of routes, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance. According to CEO Gerry Leonard, the goal is to eliminate the guesswork inherent in manual data reconciliation, allowing agencies to manage campus, municipal, and medical transit modes from one dashboard.
Transit Technologies Launches AI-Driven Operating System
Transit agencies have long struggled with fragmented data silos that separate fixed-route service from paratransit and safety monitoring. Charlotte-based Transit Technologies is now attempting to bridge this gap with TransitTechOS, an AI-first platform designed to unify disparate transit operations into a single, real-time command center.

Operational teams gain access to predictive insights and conversational AI, enabling them to query the system using plain language to identify inefficiencies or safety risks. Early adopters report catching maintenance issues faster by viewing data across previously disconnected departments. With a footprint spanning 4,000 clients and 54 million rides delivered, the company is currently rolling out the software to select campus and specialized operators, with broader public transit availability scheduled for later this year.
