Founded in 1999, Rithwik Projects has evolved from an irrigation-focused contractor into a multi-sector powerhouse. Ramesh, now serving as President of Operations, oversees a portfolio that spans railways, highways, mining, and advanced energy storage. As India’s economy reaches a nominal GDP of US$3.9 trillion, the firm is positioning itself to capture the massive demand for rural and semi-urban connectivity, drawing on technical capabilities that include complex underground tunneling in terrain like that of Uttarakhand.
The transition toward sustainability remains a core pillar of the company’s strategy. Ramesh is currently steering the firm into pump storage and hybrid energy solutions to support India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. Yet, he notes that the most demanding aspect of large-scale engineering is not the technical execution, but the management of human factors. To mitigate local friction, the firm prioritizes community engagement and job creation, treating stakeholder buy-in as a critical component of project success.
