XCMG Scales Infrastructure Fleet Across Four Continents

From the paving of Angolan highways to the deployment of zero-emission excavators in Mozambique, XCMG is pushing a massive fleet of heavy machinery into emerging markets. The manufacturer’s latest push involves over 480 specialized units aimed at accelerating major infrastructure, lifting, and green mining projects globally.

In Angola, the company fulfilled its largest single procurement order for conventional construction machinery in ten years. The shipment of over 100 units includes everything from aggregate crushing plants to earthmoving equipment, marking the first time such mobile and stationary crushing technology has been introduced to the country. These machines are slated for critical road development projects.

Simultaneously, Southeast Asia received nearly 300 crawler cranes, including the XGC110A and XLC series models, representing the region's largest single order for this equipment class. Meanwhile, South America took delivery of 80 aerial work platforms, ranging from 6-meter scissor lifts to 12-meter articulated boom lifts.

Mozambique serves as the testing ground for the firm’s environmental strategy. In the transport hub of Beira, XCMG provided a comprehensive paving and rehabilitation solution to address aging infrastructure. The effort also saw the introduction of the XE1350E, the country’s first fully electric mining excavator. This machine, designed for zero-emission operation and intelligent fault monitoring, signals a shift toward electrified heavy industry in the region.
