The insurer activated its fast-track claims service and a 24-hour support hotline to expedite recovery for affected policyholders. While the property and casualty division faces the bulk of the impact, Ping An Life has received one initial claim, and the group continues to monitor health and annuity portfolios for further developments.

Ahead of landfall, the company utilized its Eagle Eye DRS Risk Reduction Platform to disseminate over 48 million weather alerts. This proactive strategy included inspecting thousands of flood-prone sites and relocating vehicles at risk of inundation. In the agricultural sector, the firm reached over half a million farmers, facilitating the emergency harvest of 88,000 mu of rice to mitigate crop damage.

To manage the ongoing recovery, Ping An has deployed nearly 2,000 specialists, including experts in new-energy vehicle batteries and flood-related claims. A fleet of 425 rescue vehicles, supported by thousands of pieces of flood-control equipment, remains stationed across the impacted provinces. The company has extended its 95511 emergency hotline access to the general public, regardless of their insurance status, to provide broader regional support.
