The company’s growth trajectory is evidenced by the deployment of 80,000 systems across five continents and 40 countries. While the Inc. 5000 ranking is determined by three-year revenue growth, the milestone coincides with a broader strategic pivot. Earlier this year, the firm rebranded to SPOC Energy, consolidating its diverse operations—spanning data centers, marine, oil and gas, and microgrids—under a single, unified enterprise identity.
SPOC Energy Secures Fifth Inc. 5000 Spot Amid Global Expansion
For the fifth time since 2014, Birmingham-based SPOC Energy has earned a place on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. The recognition underscores a decade of evolution for the firm, which has shifted from a regional automation specialist into a global provider of critical power conversion infrastructure.

CEO Robert L. Mason attributes the sustained expansion to the company's internal culture rather than metrics alone. Beyond revenue, the organization maintains a focus on high-reliability engineering, supporting sectors where uptime is a requirement. With previous appearances on the list in 2014, 2015, 2020, and 2024, the company continues to scale its industrial power and motor-control automation solutions while maintaining the engineering standards established at its founding.
