Microsoft and Red Hat Partner with DH2i on Hybrid SQL Infrastructure

Managing production workloads across Windows Server and Kubernetes remains a technical hurdle for many IT teams. On August 20, Microsoft, Red Hat, and DH2i will host a live webinar to demonstrate how organizations can bridge this gap by deploying secure, cross-platform Availability Groups within hybrid cloud environments.

The upcoming presentation, "Simplify Hybrid SQL Server: Windows & Red Hat OpenShift Side By Side," addresses the complexities of maintaining legacy infrastructure alongside modern containerized development. Many IT departments currently struggle with fragmented high-availability solutions, labor-intensive firewall configurations, and the persistent risk of downtime when attempting to link Windows Server virtual machines with Red Hat OpenShift clusters.

During the session, experts including DH2i CTO OJ Ngo, Microsoft Principal PM Manager Amit Khandelwal, and Red Hat Sr. Engineering Partner Manager Vivien Wang will provide a technical walkthrough for automating deployment via Kubernetes operators. The demonstration focuses on securing replicas using Zero Trust Networking (ZTNA) tunneling and achieving unified high-availability automation. The event is scheduled for 12:00 pm ET, and organizers confirmed that those unable to attend the live broadcast will receive a recording upon registration.
