The device functions through an automated spray mechanism. When a user steps onto the platform, it releases a specialized cleaning solution to remove dirt, sweat, and odor-causing bacteria. The process takes roughly 8–10 seconds to complete, targeting hygiene and infection prevention in environments where traditional washing is inconvenient.
Carefeet: A Hands-Free Solution for Rapid Foot Sanitation
"I wanted to create a way for personal hygiene to take a major step forward," says an inventor from Round Rock, Texas, about their latest design. The Carefeet, a new hands-free device, aims to sanitize and refresh feet in under ten seconds without requiring a user to step into a shower.

Once the cleaning cycle finishes, the hardware manages moisture through a built-in absorbent sponge surface and a secondary drying mat. InventHelp, the Pittsburgh-based firm managing the submission, is currently seeking manufacturers or marketers interested in licensing the product under reference number 25-AFD-141.
