The marine and power generation business also contributed to the momentum, recording a 42% rise in unit sales as the firm expanded its reach into specialized industrial applications.
Profitability metrics improved alongside top-line growth. The company’s gross margin expanded to 17.1%, up from 14.3% in the same period last year, a gain management attributed to a favorable sales mix and reduced warranty expenses. While operating expenses rose—including a 24.5% increase in research and development spending—the company maintained disciplined control, leading to an operating profit of RMB 988.2 million.
