Investors Target PROCEPT BioRobotics Over Inflated Sales Claims

A class action lawsuit has been filed against PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation, alleging the medical device manufacturer misled investors about the sustainability of its sales growth. The litigation focuses on claims that the company used aggressive discounting to artificially inflate revenue figures between February 2024 and February 2026.

The lawsuit, spearheaded by the Rosen Law Firm, centers on the assertion that PROCEPT BioRobotics utilized an undisclosed discount program to incentivize bulk orders that far exceeded actual procedure demand. According to the complaint, this practice created a significant inventory glut, with more than 10,000 excess handpiece units sitting in the field by the end of the Class Period. Plaintiffs argue that these actions led to overstated financial performance and rendered the company’s 2025 revenue guidance unattainable.

Investors who purchased common stock during the specified window have until September 22, 2026, to apply to serve as lead plaintiff. While the case remains pending and no class has yet been certified, affected shareholders are currently being invited to contact the firm to join the litigation. The complaint suggests that when the true nature of the inventory surplus and revenue inflation became known, the resulting market correction caused substantial financial damages to shareholders.
