A trio of accolades at the third annual Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence has solidified Moonlock’s position in the cybersecurity market. The MacPaw-developed antivirus app secured Gold, Silver, and Bronze honors, placing the team alongside global industry staples like Cisco Systems and T-Mobile in this year’s winner circle.
The accolades reflect a broad recognition of the platform’s technical and human-centered approach to macOS security. Moonlock Lab, the product’s internal research division, earned the Gold award for Technology Team of the Year. Judges highlighted the lab’s commitment to transparency and its role in closing industry-wide gaps regarding intelligence on emerging threats.
Individual recognition followed as Kseniia Yamburh, a malware research engineer, claimed Silver for Employee of the Year. Her work tracking macOS-specific infostealers, such as AMOS, earned high praise from the judging panel of 180 international experts. This follows her earlier win as Cybersecurity Woman of the Year at the 2026 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
The product itself, Moonlock, received Bronze for New Product of the Year. The jury noted that the application succeeds by integrating threat intelligence with a design philosophy aimed at making digital protection a seamless, everyday experience for Mac users rather than a reactive measure. Oleg Stukalenko, Head of Product Management, emphasized that the recognition validates the company’s strategy of sharing research openly to bolster collective defense against evolving digital risks.
