The surge in registration follows an extension of the title sponsorship with CNO Financial Group, which will remain the primary partner through 2028. Since 2016, the partnership has helped transform the race from a local vision into a nationally recognized destination for runners from all 50 states and over 20 countries. Organizers expect the event to deliver a significant economic boost to central Indiana, drawing tens of thousands of spectators and participants to downtown businesses.
Indianapolis Marathon Sells Out in Record Time
The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon has hit a historic milestone, selling out its expanded marathon field in August. This marks the earliest sellout in the event's 19-year history, positioning the November race as one of the 15 largest marathons in the United States this year.

Jed Cornforth, President and CEO of Beyond Monumental, noted that the early sellout reflects the current momentum and energy surrounding the city. The weekend begins November 5 with a two-day Health & Fitness Expo at the Indiana Convention Center. While the marathon and half-marathon are sold out, a waitlist is open for potential openings, and registration remains available for the 5K, which is currently 80% full. Beyond the race, the non-profit Beyond Monumental continues its focus on youth fitness programs, having donated over $1.7 million to local initiatives since its inception.
