The company’s latest underground drilling program hit a notable intersection at the Largo Norte zone, where hole CMUG-26-50 returned 183.7 metres grading 1.18 g/t gold, 72.42 g/t silver, and various concentrations of copper, lead, and zinc. This interval included a high-grade core of 18.3 metres at 2.64 g/t gold and 152.34 g/t silver.
Luca Mining Expands Mineralization at Campo Morado Mine
Luca Mining Corp. has reported significant polymetallic drill results from its Campo Morado mine in Mexico, revealing high-grade gold, silver, and base metal mineralization. The findings, centered on the unmined Largo Norte and Naranjo zones, suggest substantial potential to extend the life of the Guerrero State operation.
Additional exploration at the Naranjo zone also yielded positive data, with hole CMUG-26-46 intersecting 90.6 metres of mineralization. According to Paul D. Gray, VP of Exploration, these results demonstrate significant upside beyond the current mine plan. The company is currently utilizing three drill rigs—two surface and one underground—to further define these zones. To date, the 2026 campaign has completed over 33,000 metres of drilling across 135 holes. These efforts are expected to support the integration of new tonnage into the mine's long-term production schedule, with a forthcoming technical report intended to consolidate the findings.
