The Freo 20 marks a strategic shift for Narwal, moving flagship-level features into its classic series. Central to this update is the FlowWash Mopping System, which utilizes a flattened roller mop applying 12 N of downward pressure. During operation, 140°F water is dispensed through 16 nozzles, while a built-in scraper and high-pressure pump remove debris in real time to prevent cross-contamination. This approach offers a contact area significantly larger than standard spinning mops, allowing for more consistent cleaning across floor surfaces.
Narwal Debuts Freo 20 with Flagship Mopping and Textile-Inspired Design
Narwal is expanding its reach in the home robotics market with the launch of the Freo 20, a new model that brings high-end cleaning capabilities to a more accessible price point. By integrating its FlowWash system and a distinctive woven-texture base station, the company aims to blend utility with home decor.

Beyond mopping, the unit features the NarMind Pro system, which uses dual RGB cameras and AI to navigate around 300 household objects. The robot boasts 31,000 Pa of suction power, supported by a tangle-free system designed for homes with pets. Its base station, finished in a fabric-inspired weave, handles maintenance via a four-stage process that includes 212°F washing and hot-air drying, promising up to 120 days of hands-off operation. The Freo 20 will be available in the U.S. starting August 20, 2026, with a limited-time launch price of $899.99.
