The Merriam, Kansas-based conglomerate saw its operating income nearly double, reaching $100 million as net sales hit $2.92 billion.

Alongside the earnings release, the Board of Directors maintained its commitment to shareholders by declaring a quarterly cash dividend of $2.25 per common share.
