By increasing the indicated portion of the project’s footprint to 54%, up from 32%, American Uranium has improved the project's technical standing for future mine planning. The total resource base at the Powder River Basin site now sits at 9.96 million pounds, marking a 16% increase that reinforces the asset's viability as an in-situ recovery (ISR) development.
American Uranium Expands Lo Herma Resource Base Ahead of Scoping Study
With Indicated Resources climbing 72% to 4.7 million pounds, American Uranium Limited has bolstered the development profile of its Lo Herma project in Wyoming. The updated resource estimate, totaling 9.96 million pounds of U3O8, provides a high-confidence foundation for the company’s upcoming scoping study scheduled for early Q4 2026.
CEO Bruce Lane noted that the update serves as a critical milestone, offering both scale and certainty as the firm moves toward its Q4 production targets. The Lo Herma project is now positioned alongside comparable regional ISR satellite assets, including Ur-Energy’s Shirley Basin and Uranium Energy Corp’s Luderman. Beyond its flagship Wyoming site, the company maintains a broader portfolio, including prospective ISR holdings in the Great Divide Basin and conventional uranium and vanadium assets located in Utah’s Henry Mountains.
