Jazz Pharmaceuticals reported record quarterly revenues of $1.2 billion, a 16% jump over the previous year, prompting the company to raise its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $4.60 billion to $4.75 billion following strong commercial performance across its core oncology and sleep therapy portfolios.

The Dublin-based company’s second-quarter results were anchored by the sustained growth of Xywav, which saw net product sales reach $471 million, and Epidiolex, which generated $292 million. CEO Renee Gala credited the momentum to disciplined commercial execution and a broadening pipeline as the firm prepares for the imminent launch of Ziihera for first-line gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma, pending an FDA decision expected by August 25, 2026.

Operational highlights included the publication of Phase 3 HERIZON-GEA-01 results in The New England Journal of Medicine and a new preclinical research collaboration with AbCellera Biologics. Despite the revenue gains, the company remains focused on R&D, reporting $207.5 million in research spending for the quarter. Jazz ended the period with $2.2 billion in cash and investments, having recently cleared $1.0 billion in exchangeable senior notes, positioning the firm to continue its strategy of targeted internal development and strategic acquisitions.
