The contract represents a maximum potential valuation rather than a guaranteed revenue stream, with actual earnings dependent on specific task orders issued throughout the agreement's term. This win follows a separate multimillion-dollar distribution deal announced by the company just last month. Powerus is currently in the process of a proposed merger with Aureus Greenway Holdings Inc., a transaction that remains subject to regulatory approvals and the finalization of a Form S-4 registration statement.
Powerus Secures $90 Million Aerial Drone Defense Contract
Autonomous Power Corporation, operating as Powerus, has landed a competitively bid defense contract worth up to $90 million for its aerial unmanned aircraft systems. The deal, awarded to the firm’s subsidiary Tandem Defense LLC, covers equipment, training, and field support through mid-2028, marking a significant expansion of the company's defense footprint.

Dominari Securities, which has acted as the placement agent for multiple Powerus capital raises—including its February 2025 IPO and subsequent private placements—publicly backed the announcement. CEO Kyle Wool noted that the firm remains committed to supporting American companies in critical sectors. The drone contract provides a notable boost for Powerus as it navigates its transition toward a potential public market integration with Aureus Greenway.
