Alarum Technologies Faces Securities Fraud Investigation After FBI Seizure

The legal scrutiny follows a tumultuous week in early July 2026 for the global web data provider. On July 2, Alarum disclosed that the FBI had seized domains associated with its subsidiary, NetNut Ltd. A follow-up announcement on July 3 confirmed further domain seizures, acknowledging that these actions caused service disruptions and potentially threatened the company’s financial stability. Alarum is currently investigating whether its infrastructure was utilized for illicit activities while cooperating with federal authorities.

Investors witnessed a sharp decline in market value as the news broke. Alarum’s ADR price plummeted from $8.02 on July 1 to $6.35 by July 2, eventually hitting $3.08 on July 6. The law firm is now inviting shareholders who suffered financial losses to come forward to discuss potential litigation regarding their rights and interests.
