The Monona facility arrives with a focus on high-tech entertainment, featuring climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant, and 12 dedicated game-day suites equipped with panoramic screens. Monona Mayor Nancy Moore expects the venue to act as a significant economic anchor, driving redevelopment along the Broadway Drive corridor and attracting visitors from across the state. The project is set to provide employment for approximately 200–250 local staff members.
Topgolf to Debut First Wisconsin Location in Monona
The sprawling two-level complex at 6600 Topgolf Way opens its doors on August 14, marking the brand’s 103rd venue nationwide. Located just eight miles east of Madison, the site serves as the company’s latest prototype, integrating advanced outfield technology with a new personalized bay experience for local residents.

Beyond traditional golf games, the site introduces several new features, including a reimagined outfield with enhanced lighting synced to music and a regulation-sized field goal post. To mark the launch, the company is offering a sweepstakes for one year of free game play to guests who book reservations during the opening two-week window. The venue also offers tiered membership options, such as the $20-a-month PlayMore pass, designed to encourage year-round engagement for both casual players and frequent visitors.
