PTC Raises Fiscal 2026 Outlook Following Strong Third Quarter

PTC reported third-quarter results that surpassed its own financial guidance, driven by a 9.1% growth in constant currency annual run rate. Bolstered by steady customer adoption of its intelligent product lifecycle vision, the Boston-based software firm has lifted its full-year expectations for revenue and earnings per share.

PTC Raises Fiscal 2026 Outlook Following Strong Third Quarter

The company’s performance highlights a shift toward a more durable business model, according to President and CEO Neil Barua. As industrial firms look to modernize their data foundations, PTC is focusing on integrating artificial intelligence across its CAD, PLM, ALM, and SLM portfolios. This strategic pivot aims to capture rising demand for AI-ready infrastructure in manufacturing environments.

Financial execution remained robust throughout the quarter, with operating and free cash flow exceeding the high end of previous projections. Capital allocation remains a priority; the company repurchased approximately $525 million in shares during the period, significantly outpacing its initial target. CFO Jen DiRico noted that the company took advantage of what it viewed as a compressed stock valuation to accelerate these buybacks. Looking ahead, management expects the momentum in its pipeline to sustain growth through the final quarter of the fiscal year.
