With 19,000 annual job openings projected for emergency medical professionals nationwide, Unitek Learning is addressing the critical workforce gap by launching a new paramedic program in Tempe, Arizona. The initiative builds on two decades of regional experience in EMT training to provide advanced life-saving instruction.
Classes for the inaugural cohort are set to begin September 28, 2026. Admission is restricted to candidates who already hold a current EMT certification and meet specific health and background screening standards. By formalizing this pipeline, Unitek aims to equip graduates for immediate entry into modern emergency systems, helping to alleviate the persistent shortage of qualified paramedics currently straining healthcare infrastructure across the United States.
