The partnership integrates Stickley on Security into the broader Reseda Group ecosystem, which supports MSU Federal Credit Union’s mission to modernize financial engagement. By providing a single point of access for services ranging from penetration testing and IT audits to incident response planning, the collaboration seeks to lower the barrier for smaller institutions attempting to maintain enterprise-level security standards.
Reseda Group Invests in Stickley on Security to Bolster Credit Union Defense
Credit union service organization Reseda Group has acquired a stake in Stickley on Security, a move designed to centralize cybersecurity training and fraud prevention for financial institutions. The investment aims to replace fragmented vendor ecosystems with a unified platform for risk management, compliance, and employee education across the credit union sector.

Ben Maxim, COO of Reseda Group and CTO of MSUFCU, noted that the investment underscores a commitment to industry-wide collaboration against evolving digital threats. For Jim Stickley, who founded his firm in 2007, the partnership serves as a vehicle to scale security resources that were previously difficult for mid-sized and smaller credit unions to assemble independently. This deal follows the recent merger between Stickley on Security and VYFI, an information security CUSO, which significantly expanded the combined entity's regulatory readiness and technical assessment capabilities.
