The new certification allows operators to swap existing factory-installed winglets for BLR’s proprietary technology. Designed for direct interchangeability with original equipment manufacturer components, the kits include the primered winglet, lens, and all necessary attachment hardware. The system maintains compatibility with standard light brackets and external lighting modifications, ensuring that the aircraft’s existing flight manual remains valid without complex revisions.

BLR Aerospace, a subsidiary of Ducommun Incorporated, currently holds inventory at its Washington state facility to support immediate global distribution. While the hardware is already cleared for use under U.S. regulations, the company is moving to secure validation from international aviation authorities. The firm intends to distribute the parts through its established dealer network and direct sales channels to support its existing fleet of hundreds of upgraded King Air aircraft worldwide.
