Michigan State and Arkansas to Headline CareSource Invitational in Detroit
Michigan State University and the University of Arkansas will face off at Little Caesars Arena on Thanksgiving Day, headlining the 2026 CareSource Invitational. The matchup aims to spotlight adolescent mental health under the banner "It's OK to not be OK," bringing two iconic programs to the Detroit court.
Since its inception, the invitational series has engaged over 100,000 fans and provided more than $250,000 in grants to mental health providers and educational foundations. For the upcoming Detroit event, tickets become available to the public on October 1, following a one-day presale. CareSource, which manages Medicaid plans in both Michigan and Arkansas, intends to use the national broadcast to normalize help-seeking behavior among young athletes and students.
