Lockhouse Gallery Marks First Year With Brunswick Benefit Auction
On August 15, the Lockhouse Gallery will celebrate its first anniversary by transforming its historic Brunswick, Maryland, site into a hub for philanthropy. The event features a benefit auction and live bossa nova performance, with all proceeds earmarked for the ongoing beautification of the city's downtown Main Street district.

Founded in May 2025 by painter and metalsmith Kimberly Yourick, the gallery has quickly gained regional traction, earning upcoming features in American Art Collector magazine. Yourick oversees a roster of 31 artists, many of whom studied under influential instructor Walter Bartman. The collection spans diverse styles from realism and impressionism to neo-expressionism and abstract sculpture. Admission is free, welcoming collectors and community members to support the local historic corridor.
