The partnership leverages CrashBay’s neutral infrastructure to connect policyholders with vetted repair facilities. By acting as a digital marketplace, CrashBay facilitates end-to-end management of the repair process, ensuring that Branch’s automated claims system remains efficient while enhancing service delivery. The platform operates independently of physical repair shops, focusing instead on matching carrier needs with available, high-quality network capacity.
Branch Accelerates Claims Repair with CrashBay Integration
Columbus-based insurer Branch has overhauled its direct repair program by partnering with CrashBay to deploy a fully managed, digital-first repair network. The collaboration, which bypasses the typical months-long industry rollout timeline, was operational in less than three weeks, allowing the carrier to streamline claims coordination without increasing administrative headcount.

John Harvey, founder of CrashBay, noted that the insurer’s technological foundation allowed for an unusually rapid deployment. Charlie Wendland, Chief Claims Officer at Branch, emphasized that the integration directly improves coordination for members, raising the standard for execution within their existing claims management framework. This move signals a broader shift in the insurance sector toward agile, tech-driven infrastructure capable of reducing traditional cycle times.
