Sunset World Group Wraps Hawaiian-Themed Member Fest in Cancun

From July 20 to 24, the Sunset Royal, Sunset Marina, and Hacienda Tres Ríos resorts transformed into a Polynesian-inspired retreat. Sunset World Group hosted its annual Member Fest, a five-day celebration centered on Hawaiian tradition, communal dining, and specialized workshops designed to deepen the bond with its Club Sunset members.

The festivities leaned heavily into the spirit of the archipelago, featuring tiki mixology classes and hands-on sessions for crafting traditional accessories. Guests engaged with the coast through Hawaiian-style paddleboarding and kayaking, while younger attendees participated in a dedicated camp focused on cultural immersion and creative games. The culinary program served as the event's anchor, culminating in signature Luau Dinners that paired tropical menus with live performance art.

The week concluded with the Mahina Dinner, an evening themed around the Hawaiian word for moon. Beyond the pageantry, the event highlights the strategy of this Mexican family business to prioritize experiential hospitality over standard lodging. With over 30 years in the industry, the group continues to leverage such themed gatherings to foster a sense of community among its long-term members across its six Cancun and Riviera Maya properties.
