DaBella Donates $15,000 to Arizona Foundation for Cancer

A $15,000 donation from home services firm DaBella is set to bolster support programs for Arizona cancer patients, providing essential resources that insurance plans often neglect. The contribution arrives as the Arizona Foundation for Cancer reports a 30 percent surge in demand for assistance over the past year.

The funds will sustain the foundation’s practical aid programs, which include nutrition counseling, support groups, and post-surgical house cleaning services. According to Luke Sorensen, DaBella’s director of community engagement, the company prioritized this partnership because the foundation directs every dollar toward patient services rather than administrative overhead. By covering these daily logistical burdens, the nonprofit allows families to focus their energy on treatment and recovery.

Executive director Wendy Capullo noted that the rising volume of aid applications has placed significant pressure on the organization’s resources. This corporate gift is the latest initiative under the DaBella Cares program, which previously supported the National Brain Tumor Society and various first responder tributes. The company maintains 68 branches nationwide, with several locations currently operating across the state of Arizona.
