IFL Shifts 2026 Playoffs to National Streaming on Yahoo Sports Network

For the first time, every game of the 2026 Indoor Football League postseason, including the National Championship, will stream for free on the Yahoo Sports Network. This move aims to capitalize on a record-breaking season, placing the league’s championship chase directly in front of a nationwide digital audience.

The expansion follows a surge in viewership for the league, which saw over 4.5 million total streams and 30.6 million minutes watched through June 30. These figures represent an 18-fold increase in total streams and a five-fold jump in hours viewed compared to the previous year. The league's peak performance this season reached 454,134 live viewers during a May 16 contest between the Jacksonville Sharks and Fishers Freight.

Powered by C15 Studio, the Yahoo Sports Network will host all seven playoff matchups across major FAST platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Samsung TV Plus. Jared Widman, President of the IFL Business Division, noted that the initiative removes barriers to entry for fans, providing a high-visibility stage for players regardless of whether they connect via smart TVs, mobile apps, or web browsers. The road to the United Bowl concludes on August 16 at the Tucson Convention Center.
